I did many JCI (Joint commission international accreditation an American accreditation)projects in south east Asia ,the famous is Durdans hospital srilanka ,Lanka hospital ,Singapore hospital, Mauritius hospital ,Brunei hospital and more .I was called as a consultant /advisor for accreditation in various south east Asian countries and was given 5 star accommodation and a chauffer ,free 5 star food and a hefty fee for my consultations…I created a NICHE for me in quality ,published many articles and blogs i have huge healthcare network through out the globe….I did my masters in hospital management and CHQO from American institute of hospital management and Harvard university diploma in quality.

Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Quality Management Director – Healthcare typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.

What Does a Quality Improvement Specialist Do?

A quality improvement specialist works within the medical field to improve the operation of hospitals and clinical facilities. You typically do not work with patients directly, and work instead with administrators and other leaders to evaluate the operational efficiency of the medical facility. Your job duties are focused on improving the overall care and experience that a patient receives while at the facility. You are focused on the health of the facility and its ability to improve the health of the patients. How to Become a Quality Improvement Specialist

The primary qualifications for getting a job as a quality improvement specialist are a master’s degree in hospital management ,do a CPHQ ,CHQO certification and get strong experience in a JCI accredited hospital as an apprentice and a relevant field and some familiarity with your industry. Many quality improvement specialists work in the medical industry, but it is possible to get this job in other areas as well. Quality improvement specialists focus on improving products or services and should not be confused with jobs that focus on efficiency instead of quality. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a quality improvement specialist requires familiarity with industry standards, research skills, the ability to travel as needed, and sometimes the ability to obtain and maintain relevant licenses or certifications.
