What is GNM Nursing?

  • GNM is a three-year and six-month diploma program focused on training individuals to become proficient nurses capable of providing comprehensive care to patients in various healthcare settings. The curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with extensive practical training, including clinical rotations and internships in hospitals and community health centers. 

    Key areas of study include: 

    Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery and Gynecological Nursing, Community Health Nursing, First Aid.

Eligibility Criteria for GNM Admission

  • To be eligible for GNM nursing admission, candidates generally need to meet the following criteria:

    • Educational Qualification: Passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. While a Science background (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) is often preferred, students from Arts or Commerce streams with English as a compulsory subject are also eligible.
